항목 설명[편집]
- 이름 (name)
- 프로그램의 이름을 기입한다. 입력하지 않을 경우 문서명이 자동으로 입력된다. 모든 외국어명은 한글로 표기로 한다.
- 로고 (logo)
- 프로그램 로고 파일을 와 같이 입력한다.
- 화면 (screenshot)
- 해당 프로그램을 찍은 스크린샷이다. 주의할 점은 화면에 나타나는 폰트에도 저작권이 있다. 저작권으로 인한 문제를 피하기 위해, 저작권이 자유로운 폰트(무료 배포되는 것, 판매가 종료된 폰트 또한 여전히 저작권을 가진다)를 사용하여야 한다.
- 설명 (caption)
- 화면의 그림 아래에 올 그에 따른 추가적인 내용이다.
- 원작자 (author)
- 프로그램을 처음으로 만들어낸 사람 또는 집단의 명칭을 쓴다.
- 개발자 (developer)
- 프로그램의 현재 개발자 또는 집단의 명칭
- 발표일 (released)
- 1.0 버전이 발표된 날짜
- 최근 버전, 미리보기 버전 (lastest preview version)
- 프로그램이 공식적으로 발표되었을 때의 버전과 그 일자를 기입한다. 미리보기는 비공식 발표되거나 일부의 제한된 사용자가 안정성, 성능여부를 시험하기 위한 시험판를 의미하며 알타버전과 베타버전이 존재한다(α나 β를 버전 뒤에 붙인다).
- 프로그래밍 언어 (programming language)
- 프로그램에 사용된 언어
- 운영체제 (operating systerm)
- 프로그램이 일반적으로 전체적으로 윈도, 매킨토시, 유닉스, 리눅스가 있다.
- 플랫폼 (platform)
- 운영체제의 세부적인 사항으로 크게 32bit의 x86, 64bit의 x64가 있다. 때때로 Java를 기반으로 하거나, 드물게 아이테니엄 기반의 IA-32와 IA-64에서 작동하는 경우도 있다.
- 언어 (language)
- 프로그램의 언어를 기입하는데, 때로 모듈화되어 언어를 임의로 더할 수도 있게 되어 있는 프로그램의 경우, 다국어로 표기한다.
- 종류 (genre)
- 프로그램의 종류를 기입한다. 예: WinRAR → 압축 프로그램
- 라이선스 (license)
- 이 항목에는 크게 두 가지를 기입하는데 첫 번째는 소스의 공개여부 등에 따라 오픈 소스, 클로즈드 소스'로 나뉜다. 두 번째는 무료로 배포되나 제한이나 사용기간이 있는 경우 셰어웨어, 그 반대로는 프리웨어, 자세한 라이선스는 각 프로그램에 동봉되어 있을 수도 있는 라이선스를 기입한 텍스트 파일을 참고하여 기입한다.
- 웹사이트 (website)
- 제작사의 프로그램의 소개 페이지의 URL을 기입한다. 그리고 필히 웹사이트나 프로그램의 명칭을 기입하여, URL이 노출되거나 한 문장이 두 줄로 내려가지 않도록 한다.

| Initial release date | released | The date in which version 1.0 (or closely-matching release) of the software in question reaches its release to manufacturing (RTM) stage. In case the article is about a specific major release of a piece of software (for instance Internet Explorer 8 or Microsoft Office 2007), this field should contain the date in which that specific major release reached RTM stage. In case the software is still in development and has not reached its RTM stage, please ignore this field; do not use this field to specify the release date of the first preview/test release of the software; there is already another parameter for that use. | Version info layout | ver layout | Defines how version number information appear in the infobox. Can be set to "simple" (default) or "stacked". "Simple" allocates an ordinary row to "latest release version" and another to "latest preview version". But "stacked" gives the full width of the row the info and adds a header, so that several version numbers can appear and use the infobox space more efficiently. Additionally, "stacked" could automately generate an edit link at the header to allow editors to update the version number.
